Who is D B Sweeney ?

Education/Qualifications : ~ DB attended Shoreham-Wading River High School. Then went onto Tulane University. He left Tulane and returned to New York, attending N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts.

Other Information : ~ Mr Sweeney was originally heading for a sporting career, playing Baseball, but had to quit, and left Tulane University, after a motorcycle accident. He'd decided on Law as third option if his acting career didn't take off. After 3 years at N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts he got his first break on Broadway in 'The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial' in 1983. His first big screen break came a few years later in 'Gardens of Stone' in 1987, directed by Frances Ford Coppola. DB has played sportsmen in several movies, including realising his dream of hitting a homerun, as 'Shoeless Joe Jackson', in the movie 'Eight Men Out'. DB is a member of the Actor's Studio and has appeared in a number of stage productions.
